My name is Justin and I have the pleasure of being the current Chair and IT Director of HomeJames
I have been with HomeJames since it’s inception. I ensure the ball keeps rolling within the Board of Directors as well as lead all I.T. aspects of the HomeJames operation including Dispatch, Social Media, Website & Phone Systems. I thoroughly enjoy volunteering with the other 130 volunteers that dedicate their time to keeping the roads of Caledon safe.
Thank you to all our amazing sponsors and volunteers to have helped HomeJames achieve their mission each year.
My name is Brendan Gibney and I serve as the VP of Operations for HomeJames Caledon.
In short, I ensure (or at least try to ensure) that on nights of operation, things go smoothly, and we offer the best service we can! I wear many hats in HomeJames and have volunteered in all positions over my years and found each one to be exciting.
You can’t miss me and can hear me coming a mile away while i’m always cracking jokes! But do not ask me if I’m Irish, or else! You have been warned! Welcome to HomeJames!
My name is Tom Publicover and I volunteer on the board as primarily the treasurer.
I ensure to crack the whip to ensure all of our business and accounting is in line. It’s not the sexiest job out there, but I make sure all of our purchasing and business decisions are made responsibly with the goal of doing what it takes so HomeJames will be offered for many years to come and that we offer the best service to our community!
I have plenty of previous board experience and extensive business operation experience and hope to bring that expertise to help HomeJames continue to be the best service out there for people that choose to get home safe!
So, if you decide to drink, Call HomeJames! And our service is always free, but DONATIONS are ALWAYS welcome!
My name is Amanda Zarifopoulos but everyone calls me Mandy.
I have been with HomeJames since the beginning when it started in Bolton as Operation Red Nose. I did take a year off but came back and took on the role of volunteer coordinator. I have done many roles from call taker to driver and all sorts in between.
My role as volunteer coordinator is a behind the scenes one which helps me still be part of Home James even if I am not out many nights so I can be home with my young children.
I feel HomeJames is an amazing organization in Bolton with incredible volunteers that help keep our roads safe.
Hi everybody, my name is Chris and I take of the marketing to engage potential volunteers to keep the roads safe and inform drivers they have an alternative choice to drunk driving while still having a fun night out.
So please help me make my job easy and look like a champion by signing up to volunteer, or be a hero and use our service when you decide to drink.
Howdy! My name is Debi Thomas and I have been with HomeJames for many years and volunteer as the Fleet Manager along with Robb Cotte.
I have been in the automotive industry for a multitude of years and became to know many of the dealership owners in Bolton. Naturally, it worked out for me to help HomeJames with connecting with the various dealerships to source donated vehicles for the evenings.
The dealerships have been WONDERFUL to us over these many years by offering HomeJames, on nights of operation, the use of their curtesy shuttles so that our volunteers did not have to use their personal vehicles.
Although I can no longer volunteer as a car crew, I have done it many times in the past and now help the board in a more advisory capacity.
Come volunteer, drive cool vehicles thanks to our sponsors, and have a blast!
Ciao! My name is Robb Cotte and I have been working with Debi to coordinate the use of the dealership vehicles during HomeJames operation.
I have worked in most of the roles in the HomeJames organization, but primary ensure to connect and keep in contact with all of our wonderful dealership sponsors in the area, and I ensure to collect and drop off the keys every evening as needed.
My name is Barry Walkins and I have been a HomeJames volunteer since the inception of the organization! I absolutely love the organization and its mission.
I previously took care of all of our cash sponsorships and now primarily serve as a member at large on the HomeJames Board. In addition, I have served on other community group boards with the goal of bettering this place we call home.
Help us continue to keep our town safe by calling HomeJames if you decide to drink; or Volunteer and help save lives!
My first experience with HomeJames was as a customer. When I saw that this service combines 2 things I am passionate about, first FUN, and second SAFETY on the roads, I just knew I had to be a part of this.
I started volunteering at the Wines of the World event as a driver in 2018 and continued through the Christmas season. I have now joined the Board as sponsorship dealing specifically with volunteer appreciation.
I am looking forward to helping others get home safely in the holiday season ahead.
Come out and join the fun!
